ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mark possesses a formidable drive to make art and a deep well of creative energy to support it. His process is intuitive and his curiosity is boundless. He loves tools, mechanical objects, and found materials. The work, almost entirely abstract, relies on his repetitive marks, his unprejudiced exploration of materials, and the physicality of his process. He attacks the canvas fearlessly with his brush or pencil–he is so enthusiastic he often continues off the canvas and onto the table beneath.
