ABOUT THE ARTIST
New to the studio in 2022, Brittney's artwork focuses on shape and color. Drawn to pattern and repetition, Brittney works in stages. At the beginning of a new piece, her geometric design is laid out in a meditative fashion, letting the lines build off each other until she is happy with the result. Then comes the color! Brittney takes her time for the part, filling in the sections with a rotation of curated hues until the piece is complete. The effect is relatively simple in composition but ultimately tied together by the texture of the work and the hand of the artist on display.
